Giant Cat Fish 95 Kg caught in Mekong (Clip Available)

Khammouan:  on October 9, 2017 villager in Na Meuang Village, Thakhek District, Khammouan Province caught giant cat fish 95 Kg which is largest ever caught in the area of Mekong River.

Villagers came to see the fish and very exciting to see the giant creature.

This is second big fish caught in Mekong within a month. As last month,​ villager in Southern Laos also caught endanger specie Mekong Fist known as Pa Fa Lay (Dasyatis Laosensis). Mekong River consider as a home of million aquatic species which some are in risk of extinction. One of that is River Dolphin which could see only in Southern Laos.
